The Kuwaiti Oil signs an agreement for petroleum services with Halliburton and Schlumberger

The Kuwaiti Oil Company concluded two contracts worth 97.2 million dinars with two major oil services companies in the world which are Schlumberger and Halliburton, in order to provide support services for the drilling and wells’ maintenance operations.

The sources said that the two American and English companies will provide detailed records on the geological formations of many sites which will be examined by the two companies.

Both contracts are considered among the most important contracts recently signed by the Kuwaiti Oil Company within the framework of the company continuous endeavors to increase the production capacity during the current year through the completion of several capitalist projects such as digging new wells and preparing networks, flow lines and surface facilities.
