Qatar ships more LNG to UK

The UK’s South Hook liquefied natural gas import terminal is expected to receive a cargo of LNG on July 14, port data says.

The Al Ghariya LNG carrier, with a capacity of 210,000 cubic metres is transporting the cargo from Ras Laffan, Qatar.

This will mark the third July delivery of Qatari LNG to the South Hook terminal located on the shores of the Milford Haven waterway and the second cargo in four days.
The South Hook terminal can process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG a year and is capable of delivering 21 billion cubic metres of gas a year into the UK’s national transmission system.
