GE, ADGAS sign service agreement
GE Oil & Gas said it has signed a long-term service agreement with ADGAS, the Abu Dhabi-based LNG and LPG producer, to further strengthen plant productivity and maximize reliability and efficiency of its plant in Abu Dhabi.
As part of the agreement, GE Oil & Gas will support the full maintenance, including supply of parts, repair & services and the provision of a resident team, for GE Frame 5 2D gas turbines as well as associated centrifugal compressors. GE Oil & Gas will also provide training for a number of ADGAS engineers that will further build local capabilities, the company informed in a statement.
Fahim Kazim, ADGAS CEO, said the company will look to further increase the productivity and that this agreement is a step in the right direction.
