Qatar Petroleum participates in the 15th GCC Expo

Qatar Petroleum (QP) is taking part in the 15th GCC Joint Exhibition 2014, which is currently being held at the Expo Centre Sharjah, UAE, from 26 – 30 May 2014.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, inaugurated the event and he was accompanied by H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed Al Thani, Qatar’s Minister of Economy and Commerce.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah Al Qasimi visited the QP stand, where he was received by members of the QP delegation, who explained to him QP’s ongoing operations and future projects.

QP along with its subsidiary Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO) is a major exhibitor at the GCC Expo, and the QP stand has attracted a large number of delegates and visitors, many of whom have inquired about the corporation’s operations and its current projects.

This 15th edition of GCC Expo is organized by the UAE Ministry of Economy, under the theme: “Deepening economic integration between the Gulf countries.” The GCC Expo 2014 has attracted the participation of more than 300 companies from GCC countries.
