12 million b / d – the Iraqi oil production in 2017
The Iraqi Oil Ministry plans to increase production in stages to reach 3.3 million barrels per day in 2012, then 5.4 million in 2013, then rises to 6.5 million in 2014. The plan also includes successive increases in production to reach 12 million barrels per day by the end of 2017, after the three licensing rounds concluded between the Iraqi Oil Ministry and foreign companies to develop the production of oil wells and use modern technology in this area.
